Steve on a San Diego Harbor Tour in 2012 |
Steve Cooper, 9 April 1947 - 30 March 2021Steven Mark Cooper died of his prostate cancer a week before his 74th birthday, possibly due to a BRCA2 mutation. The cancer spread to his bones after 10 years. Two years later it went to his bone marrow and skull. The marrow problem meant that no more chemos were possible. The skull affected his brain and who he was. The only treatment he had left was radiation which was just palliative. There is an obituary for him on the Bridge Winners site which is linked to from his N.Y.Times obituary at https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/nytimes/obituary.aspx?n=steven-cooper&pid=198245283 Every image is clickable to albums of more photos. |
